We are starting to get into a routine, although we wish it didn’t always begin around 5:30 in the morning. Swimming has been a great activity and allows us to connect with Hin Hin as he seems to be more independent. There were some specials moments for James and Hin Hin when he asked for help and wanted James there for security. These things seem small but they are the building blocks to gain his trust and understanding that we are, and always will be here. After swimming we typically come back to the room for showers and then “movie”. Funny how kids always know that word, and McDonalds 😁. Hin Hin is a creature of habit and always wants to be the first one to shower, and to do so without help. We have no idea what’s getting washed but at least he showers without complaining. We went back to a yummy restaurant for dinner. Not only was the food great, but it also came with vegetables (a must for Laura). It has been fun going out to eat together and trying new foods. Hin Hin has been showing us how to properly prepare/eat some of the dishes we have been trying. He has also started to share food with us and allow us to share with him. Again, this seems small but it is a big step in building our bond together. Please keep praying for our boys to know how much we love them, and for the Lord to give us wisdom as we navigate parenting two.
