Rain Rain go Away

 Rain, Rain, Go Away Hin Hin’s English continues to expand, and includes this phrase as it has rained the past couple days as well as this morning.   Due to the downpour this morning our original plan to walk to breakfast wasn’t an option so we decided to eat at one of the hotel restaurants.  Despite our attempts, both boys decided they wanted to get the expensive buffet.  Laura helped Hin Hin with his visit to the buffet.  While yesterdays breakfast was carbo loading, his breakfast today was all about protein - lots of bacon, sausage, ham, egg omelet, and hash browns.  After breakfast we spent time at the indoor play area.  It had some bumpy moments, including his first outburst at not getting his way, but we’ll keep working together as a family through the transition.  On the way back to our room we noticed that the hotel also had an indoor game area, so we spent a couple hours there.  Thank goodness for these indoor options!  The sun started to come out so we ventured to the grocery store to pick up lunch.  On our walk over, Hin Hin said his first full sentence.  We are impressed with all he has picked up in just a couple days.  We’ll head to the pool and then watch some cartoons this afternoon before going out to dinner.  Hopefully both the boys will be tired and sleep better tonight.  Each night seems to get a little better but no one has gotten a full nights sleep yet…..and both our boys must be dreaming about Kung Fu panda when they sleep as we keep getting punched and kicked at night 😁 Last night we got to enjoy the gift Hin Hin made of rice cake with pork belly and read the Bible together.
