We have good news

As we wait and pray for when we get to meet our son we are reminded that  God has perfect timing. This adoption journey has been such a blessing bringing us closer together as a couple and closer to Him. Today we received an encouraging email stating that the US consulate in Guango processed our paperwork and are only waiting on a letter from China inviting us.  With this paperwork in place it looks like the next few weeks may be a flurry of activity getting visas and making travel plans.  If all goes according to plan we will start the long trek to China to finally meet Luke in mid January.

Laura continues to work on the donation recognition quilt and is almost done.  Grandma Tina and Laura have spent hours cutting, pinning and sewing. We think this will be a wonderful way to show Luke how much he was loved by our family and friends before we ever met him.

James is working on a book, based on photos we have of Luke, outlining the steps that will happen in China during the adoption and the trip home (small sample below).

We continue to ask for prayers on anxiety about travel and pray that Luke's little heart is prepared for this new journey.
