We have BIG news!
We are adopting!
Adoption has been on our hearts for many years and we are beyond excited to announce that we are adopting a 5 year old little boy from China. To get to this point, we completed mountains of paperwork, lengthy interviews and many trips to the notary and post office. We are now in another waiting period (there are lots of these with adoption) but we are using this time to do some fun things like painting and preparing a bedroom to welcome him to his new home. As you know, this is one of Laura's favorite things and it is wonderfully decorated with blue walls, a comfy reading chair and a dresser that was Jim's dad's childhood dresser.
We have not met Luke yet but already love him more than we could have imagined. We have seen many pictures and videos of Luke and can say that he is a very cute little boy who is inquisitive, playful and active. Our favorite thing is his little smile and infectious
